Crossroads 2016

The Students Union, SRCC conducted the 41st annual cultural fest, Crossroads 2016. from March 05-08 2016. With food stalls, gaming corner provided by PlayStation, adventure zone by The Travellers Society and many fun activities by sponsor stalls the entire college was a full fun package that no one wanted to miss out on. The biggest stage in the University covered the entire parking lot, and ensured even rain won’t dampen the enthusiasm of the crowd and the performers.

The festival started with a Nukkad Natak called 'Dastak' on women's empowerment. The Times of India debate was held in the seminar room.

Farhan Akhtar Live performed all of Farhan Akhtar’s popular songs from the movies he acted in and completely charmed the crowd.

The second day had the first dance battle- Stomp The Yard, which was an open battle in different street dance styles. Simultaneously, a bike stunt show was happening in the parking lot. The evening saw Shankar Ehsaan Loy perform to mesmerize the audience.

The morning of the third day saw teams compete in Raqus: the choreography team competition held in collaboration with Verve: The Choreography Society.

This was followed by the Fashion Show Competition Inferno in collaboration with Demeanour: the fashion society of SRCC.

A hip hop dance workshop was then held by Ram Pradeep in the college Auditorium.

The band Euphoria with its lead singer Palash Sen came on stage with their unusual costumes at 6:30 and rocked the crowd with their songs.

Thirak, the western dance team competition was organized on the fourth day in collaboration with Panache, the western dance society. With several special performances by the judges and brilliant performances from the teams, the show ended with a satisfied audience.

The evening performance by Mohit Chauhan left the audience spellbound. The concert was followed by the EDM night as the DJ came and made everyone jump to their feet.

With fireworks on stage, the biggest fest of Delhi University ended on a brilliant note.
