Centre for Professional Development

The Centre for Professional Development (CPD) is an enabling platform providing opportunities of value-addition to classroom curriculum through workshops, lectures, hands-on training programmes and interactive sessions. In the past years CPD has organized sessions for students and teachers on a variety of courses with resource persons from both within and outside the College.

The CPD had the Ernst & Young Tax workshop conducted on February 18-19, 2016 for more than a hundred under-graduate students by experts from E&Y.

The Centre conducted the Advanced Excel 1 workshop from February 26-28, 2016 for 81 under-graduate students under the guidance of Mr. H.N. Tiwari.

The Advanced Excel 2 workshop was conducted by Mr. H.N. Tiwari from March 11-13, 2016 for 82 under-graduate students.              

The CPD organised a special session on Supply Chain Management from March 11-12, 2016 for 80 post graduate students conducted by Prof. Sunil Sharma, Prof. Prabhat Mittal, and Mr. S. Ravichandran.

A workshop on Personality Development was conducted on February 29, 2016 for 47 post graduate students by Mr. S.K. Choudhury, Mr. S.K. Chawla, Mr. Amit Sachdeva, and Col. N.R. Vaid.

The Advanced Excel 3 workshop was conducted by Mr. H.N. Tiwari from March 18-19, 2016 for 88 post graduate students.              

Under the aegis of the Centre, a workshop on Advanced Research Techniques in Finance was conducted by Prof. C.P. Gupta on July 7-12, 2014 for 70 members of the faculty.

The CPD conducted the Ernst & Young Tax workshop on August 19-22, 2014 for 60 under-graduate students.

The Centre organized a seven-day programme on Teaching through the Case Method in collaboration with Prof. David Sharp of the Ivey Business School, Western Ontario, Canada from November 17-22, 2014 for 30 members of the faculty.

A session on Supply Chain Management was held from December 23-26, 2013 for 60 under graduate students by Prof. Sunil Sharma

A workshop on ‘Pillars of Equity Investment  was held from December 20-21, 2013 for 40 under graduate students by the ICICI team.

A workshop on Financial and Statistical Analysis using Excel & SPSS was held from December 16-19, 2013 for 80 under-graduate students  by Prof. C. P. Gupta.

A session on ‘Communication Skills & Personality Development: Campus to Corporate’ was held from December 14-16, 2013 for 40 under graduate students by Mr. Sumit Chaudhary and Prof. Anand Prakash.
