Students Placement
The Placement Cell of the college facilitates on campus recruitment by giving a common platform to students seeking jobs. It invites companies related to finance, human resources, marketing and other recruiters to be a part of the placement process at SRCC. Profiles that companies offer relate to articleship, management trainee, executives, research analyst etc.
The Placement Cellat Shri Ram College of Commerce, working in close coordination with its faculty advisor, provides a platform for students seeking recruitments to interact with possible recruiters on the campus.
The Placement Cell, guided by a set of rules and principles strives to maintain warm relation with firms. Preparing the recruitment schedule for the year, inviting firms for pre-placement talks on campus followed by final placements, and overseeing the process to its end is a responsibility that the Placement Cell endeavors to carry out successfully.
Since the inception of the placement cell in 1996-97, most of the students available for the final recruitment have got jobs through on campus interviews.
Placement Team
The Placement Team provides students with a platform to constantly stay in touch with the corporate world by means of live projects, summer projects and final placements. Of course, no work is complete without team-work. Their commitment for the students is reflected in the rising quality of placements that students get every year.
Placements for the final year students happen in the placement season. A wide spectrum of organisations visits SRCC campus.
Our alumni are based amongst the most respected organizations, nationally and internationally. They are a significant source of support and encouragement.
Placement Procedure
For recruitment at the College, a placement season is organized during the session.
Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) : The PPT provides an opportunity to the recruiting companies and the students to interact. Presentation by the companies about themselves (history, growth potential, future opportunity, etc.) and jobs available (content, compensation package, location, etc.) gives a very consequential insight to each aspiring student making choice for their career.
Companies schedules the PPT before the date decided for the final round of selection. They also send promotional materials to the college prior to PPT.
After the PPT, resumes of interested students are sent to the company.
The companies send details of the selection procedure, which enables the placement cell to make necessary arrangements at its end.
